So you decided to make your life better and easier by learning yourself yoga. In your life, you've made one of the biggest decisions. Yoga is a lovely philosophy that explains how the body and mind are merged with your soul. Originally the Indian sage Patanjali, who writes yoga-sutras, gave yoga philosophy. People begin to practice yoga with much passion, then lose faith in the center somehow. They frequently make several errors, which obstruct their spiritual progress. Each aspirant for yoga must be informed of certain fundamental aspects that are required for spiritual advancement.

Anybody who joins TTC Yoga should be conscious of these most common myths to succeed in their daily practice.

We list five typical mistakes that yoga practitioners should be conscious of-

1. Becoming too ambitious

Becoming too ambitious and expecting a lot of progress right away is very widespread and natural. Yet this is all a blueprint for failure. You seem to be making fantastic expectations of yourself by being so zealous and enthusiastic. You tend to be irritated with setting ambitious targets because you are unable to reach them. Therefore before starting to practice Yoga, any yoga aspirant must learn to stay rational in order to stop getting too nervous.

2. Setting an Unreasonable Standard

We tend, of course, to set ourselves unreasonable goals, particularly at the beginning. We appear to overestimate our success and start to expect too many too early. It's all a prescription for catastrophe. If you are unable to meet goals, you lose confidence and feel frustrated. Therefore you must always set reasonable goals for yourself in order to be successful on your yogic path.

3. Study Only From Books-

This is one of the most important errors people make. A lot of people forget the importance of a real Guru and want to learn all on their own. While there is no issue with self-learning, only self-learning and not guru-learning can bring backfire. When you perform Yoga Asanas, you need professional guidance to get your postures correct. Any wrong move could inflict significant physical harm. Therefore in addition to self-study, you must still learn from an accomplished yoga instructor.

4. Only focus on simple asanas-

In general, people get stuck with easy asanas and don't want to do asanas that are more complicated. In its entirety, you always ought to learn Yoga, and not just be content with Asanas and postures. Yoga is a method that teaches a person how to attain self-realization. Yoga isn't just about body postures or asanas being performed. Yoga is ultimately about self-realization, while Asanas is just one of the eight parts of Yoga. One may finally step up the spiritual ladder and attain enlightenment by constant and thorough practice.

5. In your Practice, don't be too serious-

Many people learn yoga for the company or other selfish reasons. Although the market for yoga has grown significantly in recent years, the essence of yoga must not be lost to people. Yoga is not just about asanas being done and enhancing physical fitness. Yoga is about self-realization today.

Practicing Yoga would be an inspiring practice for you. Although it's not easy to do yoga, time and commitment are worth it. However, in the course of his job, a person must stay cautious and truthful and avoid being too complacent. Although you can learn through self-study or Guru, the true benefits of Yoga are really useful to you.
